Scholars Speak gives students the opportunity to write, illustrate, and present on a wide variety of topics!  Below are the documents which introduce Scholars Speak.

With Scholars Speak, students will:

1.  Write a brief essay (2-3 paragraphs) in response to a prompt.

2.  Illustrate their writing with a colorful/detailed picture.

3.  Practice their presentation at home, using the speaking skills outlined in the Rubric below.

4.  Give an oral presentation to the class. As they speak, students will refer to their drawing which will be projected on the Smart board.
